I am so excited to announce that K’s Aid will be teaching Mental Health First Aid from March 2019. From experience, I understand the devastating impact poor mental health can have within the younger generation. The course is aimed at anyone who works with, lives with or supports young people and adults.

K’s Aid is delighted to announce that we will be rolling out Flat Stan Workshops to primary schools, out of school groups, sports clubs, childrens and community groups across the Essex area.
Despite Flat Stan bringing a bit of fun to First Aid, the concept is very much a serious one.
Flat Stan First Aid workshops have been cleverly designed so that children aged 4 to 11 years can learn essential life skills which will stay with them as they grow.
A child friendly Flat Stan manikin is present at all workshops and will give children the confidence to check if someone is responsive or breathing, deliver chest compressions and help someone who is choking, bleedingf or suffering from a burn.
Every child who attends a Flat Stan workshop is awarded with a Flat Stan First Aid book and Flat Stan sticker.
The workshops last approx 60 mins and can be conducted during school hours or after school.
